Thanks to generous grant funding through the J. Floyd Dixon Memorial Fund (and other incredible donors), Make Wellston Beautiful and Precious Lung are thrilled to announce that we are officially ready to launch our sensory-friendly salon & barbershop training initiative, Calmer Cuts! 💇‍♀️💈🧩

We’ve ordered all materials and are now booking salons and barbershops for trainings!

Each participating location will receive:
✅ A sensory difference/autism training led by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
✅ A full sensory kit to use before, during, and after haircut experiences
✅ A set of tools, visual supports, pamphlets, and signage to support sensory-friendly practices

We have room for 15 salons or barbershops to participate in this first round!
📅 Trainings can begin in as little as 2 weeks!
