Make Wellston Beautiful, Inc., with generous support from the Ohio Arts Council, is seeking art designs from residents and local young people for new banners to be installed in downtown Wellston. Thanks to the generous support of an Ohio Arts Council ArtsRise grant, MWB has received funding to custom-design and install street pole banners to freshen up the appearance of our city while showcasing local talent.

MWB is actively soliciting designs from local school students and all Wellston residents. The banners will be 30 inches wide by 60 inches tall rectangles to fit existing hardware, so please keep in mind a height-to-width ratio of 2 inches of height for every 1 inch of width.  One or multiple designs may be chosen, at the discretion of the committee.

Designs are due to be submitted to the child’s Wellston City School of attendance or by email to makewellstonbeautiful@hotmail.com on or before Friday, 1/30/26. Please also include contact information in case designs need to be modified for digital reproduction.
