Thank You to everyone who came to support our Mistletoe Market and to all the wonderful vendors. It was great to see our city have so many people come to support the events, shops and vendors. Another successful year in the books. Thanks again to all!
By recommendation of the construction crew doing the upgrades to the 327 ball fields we will be closing the fields to all activities starting Monday, October 10th until further notice. Remaining Fall Rec League games will be played at other locations, such as Blamer Field or Cecil Arthur Field.
During this time they will be paving the parking lot along with many other large parts of the job!!! It is all part of the ODNR AMLER grant that will make our fields some of the best in southern Ohio if not all of Ohio!!! Please allow them to work so progress can happen!!
The WHS Art Club would like to thank their local, regional, and state partners for making recent mural projects possible. Thanks to partnerships forged with the Ohio Arts Council, J. Floyd Dixon Fund, and Make Wellston Beautiful, student-crafted murals have been painted on the Manring Building, The Shops on First (Daisy’s Hometown Coffee and Randi’s Wildflower Boutique), Brennan Family Pizzeria, and the Blamer Field Dugout.
Please enjoy pictures of the finished products below. Thanks again to all who were involved in this terrific community project.

T-Ball Thursday, July 7 from 6-8
10u Baseball/Softball Monday, July 11 from 6-8
Soccer will be announced soon!
We are doing it this way due to the construction at the ball fields causing them to be closed by the ODNR beginning the upgrades from the grant to improve the fields!!
The ODNR grant-funded improvements at the 327 Ballfields are moving forward. To continue the progress, we request all ball practices be held at Cecil Arthur Field and Blamer Field until further notice.
This is to allow construction crews to use heavy equipment in the parks without worries of citizens being in these areas.
Previously scheduled baseball and softball tournaments will take place at the 327 Complex as scheduled.
We also ask the public to be mindful when visiting the park to fish. Please do not drive or park vehicles in any area under construction. Thank you for your understanding.
