On Thursday, April 18th, Make Wellston Beautiful, Inc. – Non Profit Organization partnered with Wellston City School District, Wellston High School for our biannual cleanup day. We have done this for the last 10 years. There were 37 high school students and 3 teachers, along with Betsy Fain, Cecilia Plummer, and Tami Phillips.
Each year involves various projects. This year, The Depot was cleaned inside, and litter was picked up in the park, downtown area, bike path, and Jeff Montgomery Way. The gazebo was washed, then plants were planted around it, followed by mulch.
We had a great group of kids who worked hard and did a good job. Thank you to all who helped. We will have more projects in the future. Thank you to Mindy Barry with the Wellston City Page, who took photos while we were working. We appreciate all the support from our community in helping Make (and Keep) Wellston Beautiful!
