This coming Saturday is the day you have been waiting for! Opening Day festivities for Make Wellston Beautiful Baseball, Softball, and T-Ball will be held this Saturday, April 28. All MWB soccer participants will also be in the parade and introduced at the fields.
We are very proud of the new enhancements at the field to benefit your experience. Additionally, our new Spring soccer program has well over 100 participants through U14. Please join us this Saturday to enjoy our hard work and celebrate the start of what will be an amazing rec season!
Schedule of Events: SATURDAY, APRIL 28

9:45 am The parade will begin. The parade route, attached in the image below, begins at the lot, heads down Ohio Avenue, turns down Broadway, and then goes town North Minnesota Avenue/State Route 327. The parade will end at the home plate of Pearl Kisor Field.
10:00 am Approximate start of the Opening Day Ceremony on Pearl Kisor Field. All teams, team sponsors, and each of the 500 + participants in the parade will be announced by name.
Also during the ceremony, a new flagpole will be dedicated in honor of Lt. Stephen F. Byus, a Wellston native who sacrificed his life while serving our country. Following the dedication, his mother Suzanna will throw out the ceremonial first pitch. It is our honor to recognize him during the ceremony.
Skydiver Scott Adams will also make an appearance, weather permitting.
